This is probably our most significant meeting since COVID!
It's the presentation of preliminary findings from our community health research, covering areas such as population growth, family income & stresses, cultural norms on gender, substance abuse, and self harm.
This round, the chief district officer came down in person with his entourage, to listen in on the findings, together with provincial child protection services, public health, hospitals, teachers and community leaders.
It was very heartwarming to hear the village chief speaking to the chief district officer, telling him that he has been following RADION's work for the last 8 years. And has been very moved by what he has seen, the children reached, the families restored and help delivered when and where it's most needed.
In our work, we do our utmost, to love, give and serve unto Him. And the non believers around us do take notice, in fact they pay careful attention to what we preach and how we live.
In this case, it was 8 years of quiet observation.
There are so many takeaways from today, and I believe many hearts are stirred wanting to do more for the community.
Keep them in prayers. These are the movers and shakers, the grassroot leaders and policy makers.
And we are excited about what the Lord is going to do in the weeks and months ahead!
