Northern Thailand has been battered by heavy rainfall, landslides and flash floods. Thousands of families have been affected.
The water levels have gone more than a meter over the critical point, and large swaths of Chiangmai is now inundated. Some houses in the lower lying areas are submerged under 1.8m of water and debris.
This flooding marks the worst natural disaster since the crisis of 2011.
We are raising the first tranche of $80,000 to conduct emergency repairs and provide clean drinking water to the most affected families.
